Wroxham is the capital of the Norfolk Broads and is the perfect place to start a boating holiday in this fantastic area of waterways. There are a number of boat hire companies based here and you can hire a small boat for a day out or a cruiser for a longer holiday.

Wroxham has a wide variety of shops so you can stock up on supplies and there are also several cafes and restaurants. On the quieter side the village of Woodbastwick is an interesting stop off point with its medieval church finished with a thatched roof and this charming place has twice won the Best Kept Village Award. If the weather should take a turn for the worst you can head for Caister Castle Motor Museum which houses a fine collection of vintage and classic motor vehicles.
